Blue Zone Forum has hosted a conference with investors, especially aimed at entrepreneurs from the Zona Franca de Cádiz incubator.

The “Investor Day Incubazul” has been configured as an opportunity so that, in an institutional event, qualified national and international investors can listen to the value proposition, the business model, and the financing needs of startups representing the initiative. , carefully selected based on the maturity of your project.

The main objective of this initiative is for investors to learn first-hand about these emerging companies and to be able to interact with entrepreneurs and thus generate business flows that can lead to private financing of the projects.

In the weeks prior to the event, Incubazul prepared the projects according to their incubation and acceleration process, focusing on those with the greatest investment potential. These have been invited to participate in specialized training, addressing issues such as legal issues, validation of hypotheses, assessment of the business model, presentation and pitch techniques, as well as appropriate strategies for interactions with investors. An investment committee has selected the most appropriate startups to participate in the Investor Day.

Regarding the profile of investors, those specialized in the blue economy, both nationally and internationally, who also participate in BZF, have been invited to participate, capitalizing on the synergies between both events. It has also been determined based on the selected companies, considering their verticals, maturity states and investment amounts.

He has also communicated with investors with provincial and regional experience, with a strategic approach that strengthens the connections already established.

 

Participation of Incubazul startups in BZF

The Blue Zone Forum meeting has also planned a notable participation of the 71 Incubazul startups on both days of the meeting at the Congress Palace.

Throughout these two days, this Blue Economy forum will hold numerous activities especially aimed at emerging companies from the Cádiz incubator. Among them, in addition to the aforementioned meetings with investors, there will be exhibitions that project their image and brand, a rotating exhibition space to publicize their products and services and, at the same time, the startups will have the possibility of participating in round tables and to attend the different talks and conferences organized at BZF.

The forum is aimed at the blue community (startups, associations and institutions focused on the sector), companies and entrepreneurs, investors, educational entities, media and citizens in general.

BZF is organized by Zona Franca de Cádiz with the collaboration of the Cádiz City Council, State Ports, the Cajasol Foundation, Caja Rural del Sur, Telefónica, Petaca Chico and the Incyde Foundation.

Incubazul remains open to provide access to any initiative that works in the field of the Blue Economy, combining the use of marine resources and innovation with sustainability and the environment.

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone implements with Incubazul a project to be a benchmark in the Blue Economy throughout Spain and in which the circumstances are conducive to attracting and promoting talent and ideas with the oceans and seas as the main focus.

Incubazul has the support of the European Union, which co-finances it, through the Incyde Foundation, of the Spanish Chambers of Commerce, 80% by the ERDF within the Pluriregional Operational Program 2014-2020 within axis 3: Improve competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and investment priority 3.
